Anointed For Business

Anointed for Business is a welcome addition to the teaching ministry of Ed Silvoso. While his early books have greatly blessed the Body of Christ, this one is destined to release even more of God’s ministers into the fulfillment of their destiny. Benjamin, is this your report card?” my mother asked as she picked up the folded white card from the table. “Uh, yeah,” I said, trying to sound casual. Too ashamed to hand it to her, I had dropped it on the table, hoping that she wouldn’t notice until after I went to bed. It was the first report card I had received from Higgins Elementary School since we had moved back from Boston to Detroit, only a few months earlier. I had been in the fifth grade not even two weeks before everyone considered me the dumbest kid in the class and frequently made jokes about me. Before long I too began to feel as though I really was the most stupid kid in fifth grade. Despite Mother’s frequently saying, “You’re smart, Bennie. The wisdom That Works

These three distinct parts of man are interrelated. One cannot operate without the other. With the spirit, man contacts the spirit realm. Whatever he receives is communicated to the mind for analysis and possible acceptance or rejection. Whatever decision the mind takes is then communicated to the body for corresponding action. The mind of man is the central control valve of the human being. Whatever Happened To Truth

Truth is not what it used to be. In days past, telling the truth meant to represent the facts accurately. It was presupposed that truth corresponded to a reality to be known, and that not telling the truth was morally wrong. To tell a lie, then, was a mis-representation of a given matter. When former President Bill Clinton claimed, “There is no relationship,” in reference to his adulterous affair with a White House intern, was he telling the truth? The well-known response, of course, is that it depends on what the definition of “is” is, as well as on Mr. Clinton’s definition of “relationship.” Our world has gotten accustomed to Orwellian doublespeak, and with moral absolutes largely considered a thing of the past, language has become a pliable tool in the hands of ideologues.
