Anointed For Business

Anointed for Business is a welcome addition to the teaching ministry of Ed Silvoso. While his early books have greatly blessed the Body of Christ, this one is destined to release even more of God’s ministers into the fulfillment of their destiny. I have been privileged to watch this message become formed in Ed and released to the Body, and I can say from firsthand experience, “Get ready to be blessed!”

When he emerges from the bathroom she is awake, propped up against the pillows and flicking through the travel brochures that were beside his bed. She is wearing one of his T-shirts, and her long hair is tousled in a way that prompts reflexive thoughts of the previous night. Sexual sins that are present in a life of a born again Christian is due to some negligence and ignorance that the enemy takes advantage of. The lust for money has also led others into all kinds of atrocities. Many have achieved the heights that they dreamed of, only to be scandalized with sexual sin, like King David and Bathsheba, former President Clinton and Monica Lewinsky, Samson and Delilah etc. Many families are broken up and undermined due to this temptation. Worst of all sexual lust has put our generation at risk. The continent of Africa for example has been scorched with the devastating spread of HIV/AIDS as a result of sexual sin. As believers, we need to understand the soul and be trained in discerning the activities of it. As defined in this study, the soul consists of the mind or intellect, the will, and the emotions. Since the soul is full of "self," it can and should be purified and rendered a vessel fit for the Master's use. (2 Tim. 2:21.) Our mouth gives expression to what we think, feel, and want. Our mind tells us what we think, not necessarily what God thinks. Our will tells us what we want, not what God wants. And our emotions tell us what we feel, not what God feels. Born A Crime

We had a very Tom and Jerry relationship, me and my mom. She was the strict disciplinarian; I was naughty as shit. She would send me out to buy groceries, and I wouldn’t come right home because I’d be using the change from the milk and bread to play arcade games at the supermarket. I loved videogames. I was a master at Street Fighter. I could go forever on a single play. I’d drop a coin in, time would fly, and the next thing I knew there’d be a woman behind me with a belt. It was a race.
