The myth of free love continues to be taken for granted by millions, and a new generation of young men and women has accepted the belief that sexual freedom is the key to fulfillment. But as desperately as people want to believe in the sexual revolution of the last few decades, it is clear to many of them that something has gone terribly wrong. I was counselling a young man who was struggling with pornography and women, and to my surplice these young men will be free for a few weeks, but soon fall back into the same sin again. I didn’t understand why, until God revealed to me that there is an open door, remember what the scriptures says about an unclean spirit in Matthew 12:43-45; the spirit that has gone out of a man goes about dry places seeking rest, but find none. I once met a lady who told me that the commandment not to commit fornication is an old fashioned law, meant for the olden days. She argued that it was no longer a realistic instruction. Even if it does not make sense to you, your duty is still to obey God. Christianity has to do with your relationship with the Lord. As a Christian you are dependent on God, and it is only the Lord who can bless you. If you choose to disobey and disregard God, I do not know what kind of relationship you want to have with Him. As a result of the Sexual Revolution, millions of men (and women) are in terrible bondage to sexual sin. There exists a great need for qualified Christians to step into this spiritual cesspool and help these troubled souls find freedom. I am certain that the Lord is calling His people to meet this need. Lust has destroyed many lives in its various forms; some have clung on to power and have been disgraced through the lust of power and fame. Others have plunged their countries into civil war because of the same problem. Others have been whipped and are being whipped with preventable diseases through the lust for food. The lust for money has also led others into all kinds of atrocities. Many have achieved the heights that they dreamed of, only to be scandalized with sexual sin, like King David and Bathsheba, former President Clinton and Monica Lewinsky, Samson and Delilah etc. Many families are broken up and undermined due to this temptation. Worst of all sexual lust has put our generation at risk. The continent of Africa for example has been scorched with the devastating spread of HIV/AIDS as a result of sexual sin.   We are all subject to the temptation to fornicate. But the priority of every Christian must be to obey the Lord. If you do not obey God you stand to lose. Obedience means more to God than any great sacrifice that you can make to Him. Some of you come to church, put your offering in the basket, pay your tithes, lift up your hands and worship His Majesty. You give sacrifices of praise to God. According to experience, observation and research I have found to know that the sin of sexual immorality is one of the most deadlest sins and one which God really frowns at, this sin can take a man from the high level of spirituality and bring him down to the starting point, Since it is a sin against the body it renders the body polluted for The Holy Spirit to dwell in. If a man has The Holy Spirit in him and he keeps committing sexual sins, sooner the person will see that The Holy Spirit will go silent in him because his body which is The Temple of God where The Holy Spirit dwells is now unfit and unclean for such Spirit as Holy as He to dwell in.
